Tom Jacobson offers hatha yoga instruction both privately and in small classes. When we pay attention to breath and movement, we contact and engage our unending ability to release muscular tension. Hatha yoga provides opportunities to look within. Tom's teaching approach does not present yoga as an achievement-oriented, athletic, or performance activity—there are plenty of other places to find these values highlighted. Learn to work with gravity, and your strength, vitality, and flexibility will grow. Yoga can be soothing, relaxing, and challenging. Tom’s individual work creatively employs a wide variety of movement techniques and approaches most likely to resolve stubborn pain, limited movement, or posture problems. He has helped many yoga students, musicians, athletes, dancers, and desk/phone/mouse-bound workers to move with more freedom and less discomfort. |
